Why foreign sites need behavioural factors in Yandex
Yandex evaluates how Russian users actually behave on your site: dwell time, scroll depth, return visits, click-through from the SERP. International websites usually lose this game by default — content translated from English does not match Russian intent, the UI feels foreign, and competitors actively work their behavioural metrics. Without a BF programme it is almost impossible to break into the top of competitive RU commercial niches.
I build BF strategies for foreign brands that already do business in Russia or are entering the market.
