Task
A Russian wholesale textile and knitwear e-commerce. Brief: take Yandex TOP-10 across commercial wholesale queries against entrenched competitors (iv-textil.ru, textileoptom.ru, nesaden.com, td-adel.ru and others).
At the start: visibility 15, average position 45 — virtually no organic traffic on target queries.
What I did
Semantics & clustering. Built 175 Russian wholesale queries clustered by category: «одеяла оптом», «наволочки оптом от производителя», «матрасы ватные оптом», etc.
Technical optimisation. Full audit: removed duplicates, set canonicals, sped up loading, deployed Product and Organization markup.
Meta tags & content. Rewrote Title, Description and H1 across the catalogue with wholesale specifics. Created unique copy per category.
Catalogue structure. Optimised navigation and faceting with SEO-meaningful subcategories by product type, material and intended use.
Behavioural factors. Launched Yandex behavioural scenarios with competitor-snippet skipping, longer dwell time and deeper catalogue browsing.
External factors. Grew the link profile through Russian textile-industry sites.
Result
After 12 months: visibility 15 → 63, average position 45 → 7, 136 of 175 queries in Yandex TOP-10 (78%).
