Dental clinic — one-off SEO with 7.6 page-depth from Russian search

Task
The clinic asked for a one-off SEO pass. The Russian-language site had not been touched on the SEO side for years: meta tags weak, URL structure illogical, no internal linking. It already received some search traffic — the goal was to lift positions without on-going retainer.
Brief: full audit, fix critical issues and optimise service pages for Russian target queries in a single September sprint.
What I did
Technical audit. Checked indexation in Yandex and Google: found duplicate URLs from filter parameters, missing canonicals, robots.txt blocking key sections. Fixed all issues, set up the XML sitemap.
Service-page optimisation. Rewrote Title, Description and H1 for implants, prosthetics, cavities, whitening and orthodontics — each meta tag tied to a geo-modified Russian query and the clinic name.
Structure & linking. Built a clean hierarchy: home → directions → specific services → doctors. Added linking between adjacent services (e.g. implants ↔ implant-supported prosthetics).
Doctor pages & E-E-A-T. Optimised doctor profiles with Schema.org Physician markup, photos, certificates and reviews on every specialist page.
Result
Results after the optimisation (Nov 2025 – Feb 2026):
- Visits from search: 4,101 (42.66% of total traffic)
- Pages per session from search: 7.60 — visitors explore several services and doctors per visit
- Bounce rate from search: 13.12% — among the best of all my projects
- Average time from search: 5 min 57 sec
- Total visits: 9,613
Search became the largest traffic channel — 42.66% of all visits.
